Established in 1946 as a school to serve the needs of service men and women returning home from World War II, New England College is a classic example of the small, East Coast private school. Student Life at New England College

Both traditional New England and modern structures comprise the 30 buildings spread out on NEC's campus. Residence halls connect to classrooms by a covered bridge across the Contoocook River.

More than 1,000 students are enrolled at NEC, but around 85 percent of the student population is from outside of New Hampshire.
