Located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley region, Lehigh University began as a four-year technical school in 1865 founded by Asa Packer. Today, the 1,600-acre campus is home to four colleges, 150 buildings and a 16,000-seat stadium for athletics.
Lehigh is renown for its engineering programs, which among other things have been responsible for the invention of the escalator and the founders of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honors society.
Student Life at Lehigh University
