Introduction to LeTourneau University
Located in Longview, Texas, LeTourneau University was originally founded in 1946 as LeTourneau Technical Institute by R.G. LeTourneau. What started as a technical school to help reeducate veterans from World War II has grown into a nationally recognized educational institution known for engineering, aeronautical science, education and business programs.
There are also business and management graduate classes in Austin, Dallas, Houston and Tyler, Texas. LeTourneau has been ranked among the best colleges in America by U.S. News and World Report.

Nearly three-quarters of the population at LeTourneau is male, giving the school a unique culture. Students must attend weekly chapel services, while devotions take place before each class by a student or teacher.
