Agricultural Science and Technology Indicators (ASTI)
"...compiles, processes, and makes available internationally comparable data on institutional developments and investments in agricultural R&D worldwide, and analyzes and reports on these trends in the form of occasional policy digests for research policy formulation and priority setting purposes. The project involves a large amount of original and ongoing survey work focused on developing countries, but also maintains access to relevant data for developed countries produced by the OECD Science and Technology Indicators unit, the U.S. National Science Foundation, and other similar agencies."

Development Goals
"...set targets for reductions in poverty, improvements in health and education, and protection of the environment. They distill the experience of many years, expressed in the resolutions of major United Nations conferences. The goals have been adopted by the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the members of the Development Assistance Committee of the OECD, and many other agencies. They found a new expression in the Millennium Declaration of the United Nations, adopted by the General Assembly in September 2000...The goals measure progress from 1990 and look to what can be accomplished by 2015."

International Center for Peace & Development
"The International Center for Peace and Development was established as a non-profit, non-governmental organization in 1997 to continue the work initiated by the International Commission on Peace and Food (ICPF)...Over a six year period ICPF conducted a series of international conferences and research projects on a wide range of issues concerning global security, conversion of resources from military to civilian purposes, food security, employment, economic development, and the environment. The general findings and recommendations of the Commission are summarized in a report entitled Uncommon Opportunities: Agenda for Peace and Equitable Development (Zed Books 1994)...This book is available for online reading on our site. After submission of the report to the UN, the Commission members decided that the next stage of work should focus on implementation, rather than further research. The International Center was established to carry on the work of the Commission.
International Centre for Research in Agroforestry (ICRAF)
